Great Outdoor Activities in the Redlands
Well Spring is well and truly upon us, and it is the perfect time to get outdoors with family and friends and utilise some of the Redlands beauty.
The Redlands has so much to offer but here are a few of our favourite outdoor activities that don’t really cost much!
1. Bike rides – It’s a great time of year to get on ya bike and you can make it a leisurely ride or get more serious and add some speed. Either way it’ll be enjoyable. A beautiful scenic ride is along the Manly esplanade and there are plenty of cafes and parks too stop off at along the way.
2. The walk out to King Island at Wellington Point is always a crowd favourite. Not only the kids, but the fur baby’s can enjoy this one too!
3. Why not test out your golf swing at the Capalaba Driving Range. It’s suitable for all ages and you can hire the clubs and balls when you get there.
4. If you’re not afraid of getting a little wet go give stand up paddle boarding a go at Raby Bay foreshore. Only $25 to hire the boards for an hour and it’s a great test of balance!
5. For something less active and chilled out, get the family to Sirromet Winery for a relaxed afternoon. There is a playground and plenty of grass area for the kids to run around while the adults can watch on while having a drink and a bite too eat.
